ABOUT US

The mission of "The Bluefield Fine Arts Commission" is to support the many art projects in our city and surrounding area.   Our endeavors include programs for area artists, singers, dramatists, and musicians.

Some of our projects include annual concerts for the East River Mountain Town Band,  first Friday's summer concerts in Chicory Square, we promote local art work with note cards, Christmas cards, and our famous Lemon fans which are for sale and available at our online store. 

Other interactive activities include our recent Paint The Train project, raising funds to increase our mural prescence in our city and the annual "Train Excursion" which brings close to 800 people from Roanoke to Bluefield in the fall.
